How it is calculated
- Volumetric weight (air) = L × W × H in cm ÷ 6000, per piece.
- Express couriers commonly use ÷ 5000; check your carrier’s divisor.
- Road freight in Europe commonly uses 333 kg per m³; sea LCL is charged per revenue ton (1 m³ or 1,000 kg).
- Air and express chargeable weight is rounded up to the next 0.5 kg.
